Can you feel it? We certainly can and we are celebrating! We will continue with our Wilderness Inquiry Series (All about the Birds and Bees) and we invite you to see what all the buzz is about! Of Course, it wouldn’t be March at Milwaukee Catholic Home without St. Patrick’s Day celebrations! We are thrilled to have Tom & Evan Leahy back to share their Irish heritage and spirit as they present their awesome St. Patrick’s Day concert! With another nod to the Irish, Dr. Tim Crain will be presenting a 4-part Lecture Series on Ireland and the Irish American experience. If you need a little more, tune in to Paul Hauer and Addison Teng for a classical recital reflecting Spring and a bit of Ireland! All About Bees, Wednesday, March 17th
Spring is a-buzz! Time to shake off that cabin fever and get ready to learn about the little insects who help make the spring more beautiful by playing a crucial role in pollination: bees! While many species are important pollinators, bees hold a special place in our hearts…perhaps it’s that delicious honey? For today’s session we are joined by a bee specialist to teach you all you’ve ever wanted to know about bees.
Dr. Tim Crain Lecture Series: “Ireland and Irish-Americans” – Fridays, March 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th 10:00 AM
Join us for a in depth overview of Anglo-Irish relations over the course of centuries. Dr. Crain will discuss many topics, including Ireland’s struggles for independence, the role of women in the Irish-American experience, and Ireland and Irish-Americans in the modern era. Tune in virtually on Fridays in March for this interesting and informative series.

Paul Hauer & Addison Teng Recital – Tuesday, March 9th, 7:00 PM
Paul Hauer, Violin, MSO and Addison Teng, Violin, DePaul University, present a virtual concert featuring the piano quintet in F minor by Johannes Brahms, performed by Addison and his colleagues. A delightful work by Fritz Kreisler and a jig to conclude the program will have you tapping your toes!
Tom & Evan Leahy St. Patrick’s Day Performance – Wednesday, March 17th, 7:00 PM
Having performed together throughout their lifetime, this father-son duo brings a wonderfully authentic vibe to their Celtic concert! You will feel transported to a pub in Ireland as heartfelt and humorous stories are woven into their program, adding depth and intrigue to the experience! Tune in, pour a pint, and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with us! Slainté!
