    Fun in the Saturday Sun! Residents enjoyed reading Fun in the Saturday Sun! Residents enjoyed reading through letters, poems and drawings from a 5th grade class of a rural WI school. Well wishes and poems and drawings of spring certainly brightened an already sunny Saturday afternoon.
    This month MCH Reads Bookclub tackled “The Inven This month MCH Reads Bookclub tackled “The Invention of Wings” by Sue Monk Kidd. This novel focused on themes of  equality, justice, humanity, and empathy. All enjoyed rich, deep discussion as well as the special dessert, Apple Walnut Spice Cake, mentioned in the early chapters of the book.

This socially distanced gathering reported on the current affairs of Milwaukee Catholic Home, highlight its successes and challenges in 2020, and detail its ambitions for the future.

Cynthia has an impressive background including a B.S. in Major Medical Technology from Madonna University in Livonia Michigan
M.S. in Medical Microbiology and Immunology with a Minor in Pathology from Wayne State University where she also earned her Ph. D.
Cynthia also served on faculty at UWM from 1972 - 2002
