March 11 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Making pysanky, Ukrainian Easter eggs, is a centuries-old tradition that is highlighted during the time of Lent. A simple egg is transformed into an exquisite piece of folk art by means of melted beeswax and dyes. Learn the history of this tradition as well as how pysanky are made with a demonstration by Ulana Tyshynsky, master pysancharka, and Anne Grunau, MCH resident.
